About the author

Amelia Freer trained as a nutritional therapist after personal struggles with her own health, where she discovered first-hand how what we eat can transform our lives.

She has been credited with Boy George’s recent and astounding weight loss and currently has an eight-month waiting list for her consultations, numerous high profile clients, and is a regular contributor to the national press.

In addition to one-to-one consultations, her services extend to helping clients with all aspects of nutrition, from empowering them to make intelligent choices at the supermarket, clearing and restocking kitchen cupboards, teaching the cooking of simple, healthy meals and providing realistic meal plans.

    The book is really good. But the format of it is just like a PDF. Apple needs to work on it, otherwise it's better to buy a hard copy.

    Terrible layout :( Why is it not designed to be read on an iPhone when being sold to be read on one? Really disappointed and as a consequence, have been put off reading the book. Epic fail...
  • Buy in paper format

    This is a great book, just not on iBook. Very clunky and therefore hard to navigate. Pity really as the book would be good otherwise.

    Stumbled across this book in a shop so decided to give it a look on iTunes . This is the best nutrition book I have ever read, couldn't put it down.. I have struggled with the want to be healthy for ever and then getting bored and relapsing back to constant sugar highs and lows and feeling horrible about food. This is written so well and really converts you without preaching. It explains every aspect of nutrition in simple terms & keeps you reading and wanting more. I am converted without feeling like I will fail again. This is a must read... Epic!!

    Great advice contained in this simple to read book, inspires you to get out to the health food shop full of ideas. Well done Amelia. One big annoyance is the format for iPad, undersized pages, with a double flick to get over to the next page, very few functions, settings, couldn't even perform a single search or invert the pages for a night time read, seems it was put on book store in a rush and at £10.99 is poor value.
